Frequently Asked Questions:
Where do I book appointments and how many should I do?
https://binghamswim.setmore.com I use this app for booking and reminders.
Your child will get a lot more instruction in a private lesson so you don't need as many. I have some students do 2-3 lessons for one week, I have others that do one lesson for four weeks, and I have some that will do a whole month. I want you to do what you can afford and have time for. I'm willing to show you exercises to work on with your child. The best way for them to learn is to be in the water. Take them swimming as often as you can. Always supervise your child around the water.
What do I need to bring?
Goggles(if you have them), towel, water bottle, flip-flops and sunscreen.
Where do we park? Where is the pool?
334 E Foothill Drive
You can park anywhere on the street or in my driveway if it's clear. Just enter the gate next to the garage. It will probably be propped open. If its closed just come on back. If you have a scheduled lesson we will be in the pool waiting for you.
Payment?
Fridays I will send you a total of your lessons for the week and you can use apple pay, Venmo or cash.
Can I have multiple kids in one session?
Yes. The price is the same for multiple sibling sets.
We prefer no more than 2 kids per half hour session (each kid would be in the pool for the full thirty minutes. 15 minutes instruction and 15 minutes practice in the pool.).
2 kids 60 minute session (each kid, 30 minutes instruction, 30 supervised practice).
3 kids per 60 minute session (each kid, 20 minutes instruction, 40 minutes supervised practice)
4 kids, 60 minute session (each kid, 15 minute instruction, 45 minute supervised practice)
Your child will get more out of these lessons because it is focused on them and their skill level. That being said I can't promise results, but I won't make you pay if you didn't get the value out of our instruction.
What will a lesson look like?
We will work on holding breath and breathing at the appropriate times, floating on back, kicking, strokes, diving and pool safety. Mostly a lot of fun!!!
Do I stay and watch or leave?
That's up to you...we will have eyes on your kids the whole time. I will always have one daughter supervising the practice swimming and Taitem or I am doing the instruction. It's hot so if you want to go run errands you can or you can hang out and watch.
